Understanding those confusing patterns

Does your pattern resemble an odd form of jibberish? No worries. Don't give up, there is still hope.
There are many sites out there designed to help you with understanding knitting and crochet patterns.
You Tube has a plethora of videos that show quite clearly how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off. Watch a few videos and try your hand at some of them, and then head back to your pattern and see that you are now somewhat bilingual. What once was jibberish is now slightly understandable. You now speak knitter. Congratulations!

Don't forget to try out my free monthly pattern found at the right and while you're there check out the other great tidbits of information listed down the side of this blog.

Happy Knitting!
